Silicone hoses are used to link metal pipework and components in cooling systems that use water or ethylene glycol. Our 90 degree elbows are ideal for creating right angle bends in pipe work, and when coupled together, they can also produce S bends. When compared to rubber, silicone hose is exceptionally flexible, with the capacity to keep that suppleness over time. Rubber hoses can split, harden, or dry rot in certain conditions, which is why silicone hoses are used in many trucks, buses, high-performance cars, and other vehicle and industrial applications.


Because we want all of our 90 degree silicon hoses to be capable of conveying fluid and air at very high pressures, we increase the number of plys and wall thickness as the diameter increases. Our silicone hose is the way to go if you're designing a racing vehicle with turbochargers or superchargers.

Liners and Reinforcement Materials:

Molded silicone couplers with various liners and reinforcement materials are offered for very demanding applications. Here are a few examples of common types.

  • For additional strength and high-temperature resistance, fabric reinforcements are usually made of polyester or aramid in a four-ply design.
  • Silicone connectors are protected by metal wire reinforcements from high pressures, such as vacuum pressures, which can cause silicone couplers to collapse.
  • Specialized qualities are imparted by lining materials. A fluorocarbon liner, for example, can improve the resistance of a silicone connector to petrochemical wastes.
